I think this might be the most popular betting system that exists nowadays. People who love to
gamble and play casino games will often stumble on it and decide that it is almost unfair and a too easy to win system. This is the bet double system that is known as the Martingale system. It is mostly discussed in relation with European Roulette, but it works well for Blackjack, Baccarat or even sports betting.

So you just lost your 1 chip and what Martingale suggest you do next is this - you place 2 chips on the same bet that just lost. You had 1 chip on red and a black number rolled up on the roulette wheel, no worries, place 2 chips now on red again. If you win you will win 4 chips and with staking 3 chips to get the win you return your losses (the 3 chips) and get 1 chip as net winnings. In case your 2 chip bet loses, you will have to place 4 chips; if this bet loses you will place 8 chips, then 16 chips, 32 chips, 64 chips, 128 chips and so on. In essence what you do in this system is bet double the amount you have just lost until you hit some winnings, each next bet will allow you to win everything that you have staked so far + 1 chip. After you win, then you rollback your betting stake to the 1 chip you started with.

Here is the summarized actions table:

• you bet 1 chip on red on European Roulette
• if your bet wins, you bet 1 chip again; 
• when your bet loses, you need to bet 2 chips and if that loses...
• ...if your 2 chip bet loses - you need to bet double the amount you lost in the previous bet until you win and recover all your money back + 1 chip winnings 
• in other words if you are losing - bet 2, then 4... 8... 16...32...64 chips until you finally win - you will get all of your money back + 1 chip extra as winnings

There is in general no sure way to win money on Casino games, but this is one of the better ways to play on Baccarat, Roulette or Blackjack. Things that you need to be mindful when you play:

1. the house always wins eventually, if you start with 100 and you are up to 250 chips, get 150 chips cashed out and play with the 100 chips
2. it is better to play with a good bankroll - not being able to bet double the amount you lost might leave you one step away from the winnings that recover your losses. Try to have enough money to cover bets up to 128 chips - this means that you need to start with around 255 chips.
3. watch the table maximum that you play on; games usually have a table maximum. 
4. do not be greedy, never thing that just because you are winning a lot you can stake more to win more; in other words if you win 10 times with 1 chip it would be enough to lose once with 10 chips to wipe your winnings; be patient.
5. you can be extremely unlucky, so follow the advice given so far and be ready to have a bad streak of bets

The short version: quick spin lets you spin without extra animations and the result is visible within 1-2 seconds; the zero chip bet allows you to spin the wheel of the Roulette without placing any money (and when you see a red number after a zero chip spin, you can then place 1 chip on black).
 
Some games will offer you the chance to use special features such as quick spin and a zero chip. The zero chip means you get to spin the roulette wheel without placing any money. This works in your favor by allowing you to see more results. The statistics of the Roulette wheel do not do much, but are indicative in online gambling where everything is computer generated. This rarely works in live roulette, but I have found it a great way to win when playing online. 


 What you do is "quick spin" the roulette with a zero chip until you see several consecutive numbers with the same color (red or black) and then place your bet on the opposite color. If you see 4 red numbers come up you place your bet on the 5th spin on black. If you lose you do the same as usual but you already have 5 red numbers in the history of the online roulette and you can place 7-8 bets more usually (if you follow my advice) and this would mean that you can only bust out on 12 consecutive red numbers. This is a very rare occurrence, statistically chances are calculated by having the odds of something happening multiplied - 1/2 x 1/2 is 1/4, but 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 is 1/8 etc. Each next bet you place and you double it is likely to win more (by itself it is a 50/50 chance for the ball to land on black or red but the occurrence of that many consecutive red or black numbers is not a 50/50 chance).

The risks of the martingale strategy are that you can get into a really unlucky situation and lose (usually when you get into a situation where you have 10 consecutive same color numbers, this is rare but it can happen).  The strategy does not allow you to always win but win more in the long run consistently. It is a smart way to play the Roulette game, which still is a Casino game, so remember that you are taking a risk to win!
